Jack Breen, Keith Thompson and Jim Jirsa received the Chester Paul Siess Award for Excellence in Structural Research at the 2008 ACI Spring Convention in Los Angeles. The award recognizes a paper that describes a notable achievement in structural engineering and recommends how the research can be applied to design. Behavior and Capacity of Headed Reinforcement appeared in the July-August 2006 issue of the ACI Structural Journal.
