Oguzhan Bayrak, Associate Professor in structural engineering, has been elected a Fellow of the American Concrete Institute (ACI). At the time of nomination, Fellows must be a member of the institute for at least ten years, and have made outstanding contributions to the production or use of concrete materials, products, and structures. In addition, a Fellow shall have made significant contributions to ACI through committees and/or local chapters.
The award will be presented to Dr. Bayrak at the annual ACI spring convention in March 2010.
Bayrak is the Charles Elmer Rowe Fellow in Engineering, and current Director of FSEL.
